About Replacing a Car Registration in Wyoming

• The license plate number of your registered vehicle
• A vehicle identification number (VIN)
• Photo identification
• Payment for the required fee

Can you print your car registration online in Wyoming?

Currently, you cannot print a replacement car registration certificate online in Wyoming. The state requires you to visit your local county treasurer’s office to submit your request in person. 

Getting a Wyoming DMV Copy of Registration Plates or Tabs

To obtain auto registration replacement plates and/or tabs once these items acquire damages or go missing, you must complete an official application.

When filling out this official application, the information required includes:

• Your full name and mailing address.
• Information about the registered vehicle, including its make, model, year and identification number (VIN).
• The registered vehicle’s license plate number.

After completing this application, you may mail or bring it to your county treasurer’s office. 

When purchasing duplicate car registration credentials, you must surrender your current registration certificate and any remaining license plates, if available. You will also need to provide payment for the required fee.
